Beaver County Figure Skating Club

The Beaver County Figure Skating Club is a nonprofit sports organization sanctioned by US Figure Skating. A learn-to-skate program is available for beginners. Private coaching is available for recreational and competitive skaters at ice sessions throughout the week. Other club activities include shows, competitions and an annual awards banquet.

Best Friends, Inc. The Children's Friendship Network

Best Friends is a non-profit organization promoting friendship and inclusion of young people of all abilities since 1993.

These programs provide socialization and volunteer opportunities. The program “Let’s Talk! - Practical Know How for Everyday Life” gives young people the chance to learn about subjects such as money and banking, smart shopping, housing, government programs and employment. Lifesteps, Inc.


Lifesteps has been providing care along life's journey helping individuals and families since 1923.

The Early Education Center offers child care, preschool and summer programs for children of all abilities. Lifesteps is a PA Keystone Stars child care facility and provider of PA Pre-K Counts preschool.

The Agency provides services to pregnant women and families with children birth to age 3 through Early Head Start, a federally-funded comprehensive program for eligible families.

Services are provided for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities through day programs and residential living.
