68th Annual Hookstown Fair (9:00 am - 11:00 pm)

Hookstown Fairgrounds, 1198 State Route 168, Hookstown. Sponsored by Hookstown Grange #1980.

Agricultural fair includes livestock, vegetable and flower displays, quilts and baked goods. Features live entertainment every evening, Savannah Jack live on stage Tuesday evening.

The “Monkey Man” will be strolling through the fairgrounds every day. Live stock sale will be Friday evening. Food, carnival rides, games and pony rides. Tractor pulls, motocross races, rodeo and demolition derby.

Gates open Tuesday-Friday 9 A.M.-11 P.M.; Saturday 8 A.M.-11 P.M. 

All ages.  $8 before 3 P.M.; $10 after 3 P.M.

South Side Historical Village “Hookstown Fair Days” (10:00 am - 9:00 pm)

Hookstown Fair Grounds, 1198 Route 168, Hookstown.

Tour the historical village featuring an 1874 one room school-house, demonstrations in the blacksmith shop, fresh bread baking in the outside brick oven,1890’s log cabin, 1870’s two-room doctor’s office, a 1858 bank barn and a covered bridge with geochache.

37th Street Park and 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls.

Bring a lawn chair.  Rain location: Beaver County Christian School gym behind the park.

Darlington Polo Club “College ID Night” (8:00 pm)

Polo and First Street, Darlington.

$1 admission with college ID.

Friday night polo played under the lights on one of the only lighted polo fields in the world.

10th Annual Aviation Appreciation Day (8:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Beaver County Airport, 35 Piper Street, Chippewa. 

See a variety of airplanes fly-in.  Static display of World War II, Vietnam-era aircrafts and artifacts will be on display. 

Tour the Air Heritage Museum and Restoration Center.  Antique car show.

Breakfast and lunch served for a fee. 

Breakfast 8:30-11 A.M.; Lunch 11:30 A.M.-4 P.M. 

Gates open 8:30 A.M.-4 P.M.  All welcome.

Gertrude Rapp’s Birthday Party (10:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Old Economy Village Visitors Center, 270 16th Street, Ambridge.

Celebrate the birthday of the granddaughter of the Harmony Societies founder, George Rapp. Gertrude was responsible for the management of the Harmony Society’s silk factory and won several national awards for designs and fabrics.

Enjoy ice cream and ginger cookies. All welcome.

Puttin’ For Pets (12:30 pm)

Black Hawk Golf Course, 644 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Township. Sponsored by Beaver County Humane Society.

Enjoy a beautiful day on the greens by helping to raise funds to support the care of pets waiting to find their forever homes.

The day of golf includes greens fee & cart for 4, lunch, registration, beverage cart, dinner buffet, skill prizes and a silent auction. 12:30 P.M. registration; 2 P.M. shotgun start, scramble format. $100 per golfer; $400 per foursome.
